Bitter pill to swallow

Source "The Sun" Wednesday April 29th 2009.

Richii "Tinchy 'Safe Hands' Stryder" Tomlinson (try saying that when drunk!) made his long awiated Club de Foot á la Tony debut in goal on a fine, summer's evening at the Astro Ground, this evening, playing out a 6-6 draw with Racing Club Evolve, who were missing their star player, comedian Russell Howard.

After taking a solid 2-0 lead early on, before going 3-2 down, the Club de Foot's showed tremendous character to battle back and take a 6-5 lead into the final '5 minutes' as the referee stated.

5 minutes my @r$3!!!!

Eventually, due to tiredness, the Foot's could hold on no longer, and RC Evolve grabbed an equalizer to squeeze the life out of the Foot's, with the last kick of the game.

After the game Stryder had this to say; "Overall, the fans witnessed a truely memorable match. It was obvious today why we have been labelled as 'the best footballing team in the league.' Jamie 'The Bean' Sweeney was immense upfront, outskilling and leaving the opposition defenders fo dead. But, to be fair, the lads gave it their all, and could walk no more at the end. The referee didn't help us out either, giving away key decisions."

"I think I played well today. Joining from Fenerbache was an easy decision after meeting with the manager and the captain. As soon as I saw the lads in training, I knew this was the club for me, even though I had offers from Spain, Italy and Coventry City. The lads have all congratulated me on some of the saves I made today, commenting on my desire, using everybody part imaginable to keep the ball out of the net. But, I have to be honest. The boys outfield deserve the credit for playing so well this evening. They're the one's who really won it for us."

"Conceding with the last kick of the game was a bitter pill to swallow. Maybe I could have done better, but it's in the past, and the boys are pleased we didn't lose after RC Evolve beat us 15-2 earlier in the season. We can learn from this. We can take this into our game next week, and use it to spur us on in our quest for European football next season."

Dean

Ok, so I want to start getting involved in acting...

And recently I've discovered that the makers of my favourite TV programme (SKINS!) are making a short exclusive film online and are looking for a male to play the lead role, Dean.

This is going to be my big break!!!! right?

Ok, maybe it won't be my big break, especially if I don't get my audition in on time, but hey, maybe one day? Yes?

Comeon people, let's pull together and get the bandwagon rolling (and Fran maybe you could metaphorically jump on?) and see if I can at least get a role as one of the extras???
