Frances, you're not alone!!!

After reading Frances' blog (www.beingmiss.blogspot.com <-- free plug there Fran!) and seeing that she is the only person who currently has the interest of "dancing in [your] living room to R & B divas CDs".

(Do not fear guys! I don't do this in my spare time, but I was intregued to find out who share my interests)

So I clicked on "spending the parents' money", and to my utter surprise, there was noone, NOONE other than me who liked "spending the parents' money!"

People of Britain, I ask you, "WHAT IS GOING ON?"

"The TechGuys©"

With shuffle on on my iPod, 'Patience' by Take That just popped on (yes, I know, sad, but hey, we all have embarassments!) which has just reminded me of an event earlier today. Finally, my new laptop wire came through the post after the old one snapped.

Mother and I sent it off to 'The TechGuys©' expecting them to be very professional (hence the professional name). After countless confusing phone calls, it was finally collected and the journey began. They say patience is a virtue, and after what could out to be a very expensive week (twin sisters and their payments for the loaning of laptop power chargers these days!!!) the new wire arrived.

And that's when my patience went out of the window. Who in their right minds thinks that a three-pronged half of a power charger slots into a two-pronged slot??? And after all these are 'The TechGuys©'

Comeon, you're supposed to be professionals, but hey, Dad has managed to find half of an old wire to keep me pleased ...

FOR NOW!!!

Typical!!!

Football on the TV these days can be quite exciting, but nothing compares to watching the mighty Coventry City live in the flesh. Take this afternoons FA Cup Fifth round tie at Ewood Park against Premier League opposition Blackburn Rovers.

A thrilling match, with end-to-end action. Despite going behind to a Roque Santa Cruz corker after only thirty seconds, City fans kept the faith, unlike the many Manchester United sofa fans would've!!!

After Aron Gunnarsson (and for those of you who still haven't figured out who he is - SHAME ON YOU!!!) equalized, before Michael Doyle scored for the third game in a row, things looked good. That is until the fourth official paraded 5 minutes of injury time, despite there being no injuries within the game.

The only stoppage was what is now going to be referred to as the 'Cupid moment.' (I'm sure you can picture the pitch invader in your head!) After spraying roses all over the pitch, the highlight of the day has to be Clinton Morrison picking one up and presenting it to Chris Samba!

This is what the phrase, 'you had to be there' was made for!

Judging Books

Have you ever watched something on television that before you have even seen it, you have the feeling that you're not going to like it? Yes, as you can probably guess, I did this recently. What was the programme you ask? skins on E4!!!

Well, surprise, surprise, no I didn't like it!!!

I LOVED IT!
(Yes that was a one line paragraph for effect.)

It was absolutley amazing!!! Whilst, completely and utterly outrageous in both plot and characters, you can't help but to sit back and keep watching. I don't really know what the unique selling point of this programme is to be honest, yet as I'm sat in the living room watching downloaded episodes on my iPhone, I couldn't really care.

It makes me laugh so hard, my lungs feel like they are going to genuinly burst at any given moment; there's not many programmes which have made me feel like this in a very long time! And Cook is just a pure genious of character.

*Now if you excuse me, I have some episodes to get back to watching.

Same Old, Same Old!!!

There's one common feeling when it comes down to sitting on the sofa, with a bottle of Magners at hand, with the TV remote on the footstool, after just being used to put the international football on; well at least when it's England playing anyway. What is that feeling you ask?

Well it's definatley not optimism!!! Tonight's it's the European Champion' turn to give us a kicking! Although, at the moment, it seems the England captain John Terry is doing it for them after accidentally taking out team-mate Shaun Wright-Phillips from behind.

Which brings me onto another point. Shirt printing. Can you imagine how much it would cost to have WRIGHT-PHILLIPS on the back of your already overpriced football jersey? I recently got GUNNARSSON 12 on the back of my Coventry City away shirt. That cost £17, and that's shorter!

And you wonder why so many football fans are worried about the recession when everyone's favourite players have to have the longest names and two numbers!!!
